On the edge of the park

'The villa on the edge of the urban park is one of 13 historic listed buildings designed by Henry Evers with contemporary touches and the utmost respect for the property. When designing the interior glass doors, it was important to keep them refined as possible. The material had to be more timeless than steel, which is why wood was chosen. The patterns formed in the glass echo the the ceiling cornices', states Studio Océan. Vonder produced the frameless floor-to-ceiling doors edged with nutwood  With their elegance and grandeur, the doors accentuate the sense of space in the living area, bathroom and bedroom. The hand-crafted handles are finished in bronze. The cupboards in the utility room and dressing room are likewise made of nutwood, while the bathroom cupboards are made of corian. The dining table, with its floating table top, is made from lightly brushed oak and features some beautiful details such as the diamond-shaped legs and cross-beam.
