The house on the shore is a visual expression of Vonder’s emotional promise: freedom and refuge – the touchstone of all its designs. A house in its natural environment is at the heart of Vonder’s company philosophy, which was conceived by designer Hans Olthaar together with founder Peter Kerkhof.
The 4 elements
A good house fits into its environment - it creates space but, at the same time, leaves the value of the original space intact. The house on the shore endures and withstands the elements of nature: sea, wind, sand and sun. It offers peace and opportunities to its inhabitants. They feel at home and experience the harmony between inside and outside; the house reflects their being. Vonder’s interiors form a natural and logical fit with their inhabitants, the existing architecture and the surrounding environment.
